Colorado Climber LLC offers a full spectrum of tree services in Colorado Springs and the surrounding El Paso County area. Started in 2023 by Joel Horvath, after working in the tree industry since 2016 for companies large and small, it was decided that there had to be a more personalized approach to arboriculture that reflects a respect for customers and deep care for their trees by specializing in plant health care and advanced arboricultural techniques.
Three ISA and TCIA certified arborists are on staff, and at least one will be present for all consultations and project executions. We aim to serve our community and environment as stewards of our forests, both rural and urban, through our commitment to safe and ethical practices that prioritize the safety and well-being of our clients, crew members, community, and ecosystem.

Mike has been in the tree industry for nearly two decades, and has been an ISA certified arborist for about half that time. He is a pivotal component of Colorado Climber's operations as a great source of information ranging from rigging techniques, dealing with hazardous situations, and a detailed understanding of plant health care.
Evan is an ISA certified arborist that has almost a decade of experience under his belt. He has served in a wide scope of capacities that vary from using his Class A CDL to drive and operate large trucks and equipment in land clearing operations, providing detailed information to home owners in advising them on planting and treatment, and functioning as a climbing arborist for detailed pruning and removals of trees.
Kellen has been in arboriculture for the past 5 years, but has a deeper history and knowledge of rope work from his many years in scouts and formal education in wilderness survival. He is also a skilled artisan and wood worker that doesn't let unique and beautiful wood from jobs go to waste by turning them into amazing pieces of art that he sells on his very own Etsy page.
Rob has been an arborist for the past 5 years, and has a wide varieties of skills that has led him to just about everything from large tree felling, manual climbing, and aerial lift operations. He is also a passionate and knowledgeable off-roader with a deep seeded care for the environment that feeds back into his love for tree work.
Cece has experience doing tree work near powerlines and has since done large scale removals requiring cranes. She been an arborist for 2 years, with prior experience in wildland firefighting that led her into arboriculture. She is an extremely fast learner, and one of the most formidable up-and-coming arborists in a male dominated industry.
